EMDR & Psychosexual Therapy
Available: Monday - Friday. Currently offering in-person appointments at my room in Erskineville on Tuesdays and every second Friday.
I am an open-minded psychosexual therapist and certified EMDR practitioner, with 6+ years of clinical experience supporting neurodivergent and queer communities in navigating relationship issues, sexual difficulties, intimacy and trust, trauma and PTSD. I am passionate about providing inclusive, neuro-affirming support to individuals navigating gendered, sexual, racial, neurodivergent, and cultural identities who may experience discrimination or internalised stigma. I work with adults and adolescents over the age of 15.
I aim to centre consent and empathy in my practice working closely with clients to deeply explore how their past experiences, current circumstances, family background, and social factors impact their wellbeing. I work under a feminist, trauma-informed, ecological-environmental systems framework to support survivors to thrive and enjoy healthy relationships both with themselves and others. Peer support towards queer identity and neurodivergence is an important therapeutic element that I utilise - living actively in the queer community and with neurodivergence myself, I am able to genuinely connect with others who may identify with similar lived experience.
My practice aims to move away from binary constructs, and the pathologisation of queerness and neurodiversity, instead prioritising dedicated and holistic support for people who feel they fall outside of the margins of the dominant societal group.
I am clinically registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). I also hold membership with the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS). I am fully certified in EMDR and an active member of the EMDRAA.

Psychosexual Therapy
EMDR stands for Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. This is a specialised psychotherapy treatment that helps individuals to process traumatic memories and reduce emotional disturbances. It involves recalling distressing events while engaging in bilateral stimulation (often eye movements) to assist the brain to reprocess these memories. EMDR is a recommended and evidence based treatment for PTSD. I have completed full trainings for part 1 and 2 EMDR certifications and am a member of EMDRAA.
I also offer other forms of trauma therapy utilising techniques from narrative therapy, the FLASH technique, Somatic techniques, and practical assistance with applying to Victim Services. I am an approved NSW victim services counsellor.

Psychosexual Therapy
Psychosexual therapists specialise in supporting individuals and couples to access holistic sexual wellbeing. Individuals may want to see a sexologist to learn affirmative consent practices, reduce sexual shame, explore their own desires and pleasure, managing sexual/pelvic pain, libido challenges, sexual and gender identity formation/discrimination, and sexual dysfunctions.
Psychosexual therapy is tailored to individual need, centred in consent and sex positivity, trauma-informed, kink-affirming, and queer affirming methods. I am particularly interested in working with women, trans and non-binary folk, individuals who have experienced oppression or shame in relation to their gender or sexuality, individuals experiencing sexual dysfunction, poly/non-monogamous individuals and couples, and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and other forms of gendered violence.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an advanced psychotherapy developed to treat PTSD and trauma-related emotional disturbances. Research has shown effective application of EMDR in the treatment of a broad range of clinical presentations, and this continues as our understanding of trauma increases and deepens. I am particularly interested in the interaction between trauma and wellbeing in a sexual health context. EMDR therapy works to facilitate the accessing and processing of traumatic memories and other adverse life experience to bring these events and their associated core beliefs to an adaptive inner resolution.
My practice specialises in supporting traumatised neurodivergent and queer community members. I am highly experienced in supporting individuals who have experienced gendered violence, sexual assault, domestic abuse, childhood neglect, neurodivergent trauma, medical gaslighting, disability and ableism, discrimination and oppression, and trauma related to animal welfare and climate/environmental catastrophe.
